The West Java Diaspora Forum Chapter IV has been successfully opened significant opportunities for West Java’s youth to access quality education at the global level. A key agenda of this forum was the international scholarship exhibition, featuring prominent scholarship institutions such as LPDP, Chevening, Fulbright, Australia Awards Scholarship, as well as scholarships from Taiwan and Mexico.

Through direct consultation sessions, participants received in-depth information on requirements, application procedures, and success tips for securing scholarships. “This session is highly beneficial, especially for West Java’s youth aspiring to pursue education abroad,” said Evi Yuliana Siregar, Ph.D., Secretary-General of IDN Global.

Additionally, inspiring experiences from young diaspora members, such as Ms. Puspa Chandra Kusuma Wardhani, an international awardee from Monash University, provided extra motivation. “We hope this forum serves as an initial step to enhance the competitiveness of West Java’s youth on the international stage,” expressed Faiz Rahman, S.STP., M.A.P., Head of the Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy of West Java.

With synergy between the government, diaspora, and global educational institutions, it is anticipated that more young talents from West Java will penetrate global education and bring positive changes to regional development.
